About the Position

Responsibilities

  • Own automation strategy and delivery for a modular.NET platform with Angular portals
  • Design, build, and maintain automated tests in C# /.NET across UI, API, and integration layers
  • Develop and evolve frameworks with xUnit or NUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and SpecFlow
  • Create and maintain API test suites with RestSharp and Postman
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD, keep suites stable, and support SonarQube quality gates
  • Set up and manage containerised test environments with Docker
  • Use WireMock (or similar) to mock external dependencies
  • Define coverage expectations and release readiness criteria with the team
  • Investigate failures properly and distinguish test issues from real product bugs
  • Mentor QA colleagues and raise the quality of automation work
  • Track work and report issues in ClickUp
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, QA lead, and product in an Agile setup

Requirements

  • 5+ years in software testing, with 3+ years focused on test automation
  • Strong C# /.NET for building and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with xUnit or NUnit
  • UI automation with Selenium WebDriver and BDD with SpecFlow
  • API testing with RestSharp and Postman
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD and enforcing quality gates with SonarQube
  • Docker and containerised / virtualised test environments
  • WireMock or similar tools for service mocking
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, SDLC/STLC, and risk-based testing
  • Experience with issue-tracking and test management tools (ClickUp preferred)
  • Proven ownership of test strategy and framework architecture, not only script writing
  • Experience mentoring QA engineers and reviewing automation work
  • Clear communication with engineering, DevOps, and product stakeholders
  • Strong ownership, reliability, and independent delivery (proactive updates, follow-through without chasing, honest estimates, proper failure investigation)

Nice to Have

  • CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Performance testing tools
  • Security testing tools
  • Test reporting / dashboards
  • Experience testing Angular frontends
  • Mentoring or leading other QA engineers (strong plus for senior)

We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on a next-generation property management and operations platform
  • Collaborative environment with interconnected Angular portals (tenant, manager, and integrator) on a modular.NET architecture in Azure
  • Modernisation of legacy systems into a scalable, maintainable platform
  • Strong focus on automation, CI/CD, and consistent quality across environments

About the Company

The project is a next-generation property management and operations platform used by multiple stakeholders across a large organisation. It includes interconnected Angular portals (tenant, manager, and integrator) on a modular.NET architecture in Azure, with API-driven communication and real-time sync between services. The goal is to modernise legacy systems into a scalable, maintainable platform with strong automation, CI/CD, and consistent quality across environments. The team works in Agile across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and product.
