Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend applications and services
• Build and execute Selenium-based automated test suites
• Validate backend functionality, APIs, integrations, and system workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects found during automated testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to improve test coverage and quality standards
• Maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities
• Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on system quality and regression status

Requirements

• Required Experience:

  • Strong experience with Selenium test automation
  • Experience in backend testing and automation methodologies
  • Understanding of API and service-layer testing
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and test design patterns
  • Experience working with CI/CD environments and automated deployments
  • Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA best practices

• Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Java, Python, or similar automation languages
  • Experience with REST API testing tools/frameworks
  • Familiarity with databases and backend data validation
  • Experience with Git/version control systems
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery environments
