About the Position

Automation Engineer Assembly / Labelling (m/f/d)

Join Körber Pharma Packaging AG as an Automation Engineer for pharmaceutical assembly and labelling machines, designing and developing innovative automation software.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of innovative automation and control software
• Analysis of complex requirements and execution of technical feasibility studies for complete machines or specific functionalities
• Programming and implementation of new software solutions, including commissioning
• Standardization and ongoing maintenance of software concepts in close collaboration with the team
• Close cooperation with the design department during the concept and development phases
• Responsibility for automation within development projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering, or a comparable field
• In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (B&R experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with HMI systems, vision technology, and safety concepts is an advantage
• Knowledge of Java as a high-level language and structured text
• Professional experience in industrial automation within mechanical engineering
• Confident communication skills in German and English (minimum level B2)
