Automation Engineer (f/m/x)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to automation projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and detailed planning to commissioning, start-up support, and customer assistance.
• Play a key role in the design, implementation, qualification, and commissioning of automation systems.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to turn requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to internal project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with DCS such as Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Honeywell PKS, CopaData Zenon, or other common automation systems within process industries.
• Broad process engineering knowledge and confidence in developing functional specifications that serve as the foundation for automation and control system programming.
• Completed technical education (e.g., technician, university of applied sciences).
• Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a pragmatic hands-on approach.
• Confident communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
• Openness to spending several weeks at customer sites when required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the pharmaceutical environment (CSV, GAMP5 standards).
