Automation QA Engineer with Java or Python

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer with Java or Python to join our software and service delivery team in Pune, India.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with stakeholders of the delivery process (including business and users)
• Develop end-to-end automation tests using Java
• Requirements analysis
• Support testing environment
• Design of tests, estimation, and planning of QA automation activities
• Investigation of test results, bug reporting, and tracking

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT (exceptionally strong technical graduates may also be considered)
• Strong academic background, preferably in an engineering or related technical field
• Solid software development experience or substantial experience in test automation
• Good understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Flexible, proactive individual with a strong can-do attitude
• Fast learner, able to quickly absorb and apply new information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Good knowledge in any programming/scripting language (Java/Python/JavaScript, etc)
• Experience in UI & API Automation testing
