Automation Test Engineer - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer for Tieto Banktech to join our team in Pune, India, specializing in QA processes and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Utilize automation, data, AI, and cloud to help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience.
• Work on cutting-edge technology to create world-class financial products used by top banks worldwide.
• Write automated tests using Java, TestNG, and Selenium.
• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to characterize and diagnose complex issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of OOP concepts and the Java programming language.
• Work comfortably in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of experience in a software development environment as an Automation tester with expertise in QA processes.
• Strong knowledge and deep understanding of different types of automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience in writing automated tests using Java, TestNG, and Selenium.
• Strong demonstrable knowledge of OOP concepts and the Java programming language.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to characterize and diagnose complex issues.
• Knowledge on Git or similar repository, Maven, and Reporting frameworks.
• Excellent testing skills and knowledge of test planning, processes, and execution with the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the software development life cycle and quality processes.
• Knowledge in ticket tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Skilled in issue identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution.
