About the Position
Automotive Senior/Middle Software Engineer IRC293428
We are seeking an Automotive Senior/Middle Software Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our engineering team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role focuses on optimizing and extending next-gen vehicles with new ADAS features.
Responsibilities
- Implement decision-making models for AD/ADAS use cases.
- Test case creation and test coverage improvement.
- Collaboration with the customer and teammates.
- Study and participate in full-cycle development of Automotive Software.
Requirements
Core Priorities
- Strong C++ knowledge.
- Focus on data pipelines, lidar expertise (or radar as an alternative).
- Sensor domain background preferred (e.g., sensor fusion experience).
Nice-to-Have
- Database handling.
- Data collection experience.
Profile Fit
- Broad expertise rather than narrow specialization.
- Based in Gothenburg.
- Collaborative, independent, proactive, and initiative-driven.
Skills
- Expert knowledge of C++ (11/14 standard).
- Expert knowledge of Git, CI/CD.
- Expert experience with Bazel.
- Moderate to high experience with Linux.
- Experience with RTOS.
- High experience with SW Testing (Unit, Integration, System).
- Understanding SDLC.
- Code review experience.
- Experience in automotive, aviation, medical, or other highly regulated enterprises, Functional Safety.
- Fluent upper-intermediate English.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to proactively analyze problems and drive solving.
- Comfortable with context switching.
