Avaloq Software Developer - PLSQL / Oracle/Reporting

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Avaloq Software Developer with expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle, and reporting tools to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. This role involves developing features for the Avaloq Wealth Management application, collaborating with business analysis and architecture, and maintaining existing functionalities. You will also support customer projects and update technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend features for the Avaloq Wealth Management application using PL/SQL and Avaloq Script.
• Analyze customer requirements and implement new functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with business analysis and architecture teams.
• Extend standard customization for Avaloq Core.
• Maintain existing functionalities and develop automated tests.
• Provide technical support for customer projects.
• Update technical documentation in collaboration with Business Analysts and Technical Writers.

Requirements

• Experienced in Avaloq software development and product implementation.
• Extensive experience in PL/SQL programming.
• Knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, PL/SQL).
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Report, Actuate, Quadient.
• Previous experience in front-end software development (e.g.,.Net, Java, Web Programming).
• Knowledge of Oracle objects like functions, procedures, packages, and collections.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing banking applications like Finacle, Flexcube, TCS Bancs, Temenos.
• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
• Open-minded and squad-oriented.

Nice to Have

• Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
• ACCP certification.
