About the Position
AWS DevOps Lead - IRC299563
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, AWS Architecture, Kubernetes, and enterprise networking. This role requires hands-on architecture design, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, security implementation, and CI/CD best practices for large-scale environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources using Terraform and Ansible.
- Architect and deploy Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
- Ensure robust networking solutions, including VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and SonarQube.
- Enforce security best practices and manage AWS security services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience designing cloud infrastructure for large enterprises.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
- Strong understanding of AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security services and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
- Experience with enterprise AWS Landing Zone implementations.
- Experience managing public-facing, high-availability applications.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and ELK Stack.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
- Prior client-facing consulting or solution architecture experience.
