About the Position

Südmetall is an international player in the business of fittings and locking systems as well as semi-finished parts for glass and metal construction. Since 1995, we have been offering committed individuals the opportunity to co-shape an innovative and dynamic company. Over 250 employees at our Ainring/Hammerau location have combined their expertise and achieved a turnover of 55 million euros in the 2022 financial year. In addition to the sales location in Ainring/Hammerau, there are other locations in Switzerland, France, and China. The production facilities are located in Germany and Italy.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for Azubis who are pursuing an apprenticeship as a Kaufmann/Kauffrau for Groß- und Außenhandel (m/w/d) starting in September 2027 for Ainring/Hammerau.

Training period: 3 years

Responsibilities

• Active participation in all areas of wholesale and retail trade
• Order processing, quotation preparation, and contract management
• Procurement and inventory management
• Telephone and written customer service and consultation
• Logistics and shipping processing
• Returns management
• Diverse tasks in the area of financial accounting
• Use of the latest IT systems and software

Requirements

• Completed school education (Realschulabschluss or Mittlere Reife)
• Interest in economic relationships and business operations
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
• Organizational skills and reliability
• Good German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Enjoyment of independent work and willingness to learn
• Enthusiasm for trade and dealing with customers
• Understanding of numbers
• Confident and friendly demeanor
• Structured working method
• Enjoyment of working with a PC
