About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and driven Azure Data Engineer to join the main Swedish railway company in Stockholm. You will be part of a dedicated team working to develop and manage our advanced analytics capability. The role involves establishing, developing, and managing our data analytics platform and the applications and flows it will host. You will work in a hybrid environment at our head office on Vasagatan in Stockholm City.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain data flows to make data available for our data scientists.
- Design, implement, and optimize automated data pipelines.
- Support data scientists in getting started with analyses on the platform.
- Collaborate with teams to implement machine learning models.
- Develop and document architecture, guidelines, and best practices for using Databricks with a focus on advanced analytics.
- Ensure that data integrity and security standards are followed.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data analysis processes.
Requirements
- Independent in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated data pipelines.
- Experience working with Public Cloud, preferably Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience in architecture and building data storage to serve advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of data modeling and handling large data sets with tools like Spark.
- Programming in SQL and Python.
- Experience with DevOps/CICD.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing and managing Databricks as a platform.
- Experience with dbt for data modeling.
- Experience in developing and managing systems.
Language
- Fluency in Swedish.
