Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our team responsible for managing and optimizing virtual device environments. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable virtual desktop and device solutions, leveraging Microsoft Azure, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.

Mandatory office attendance - 3 days per week.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain virtual device environments (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365)
  • Develop and optimize automation workflows using Power Automate and Azure Functions
  • Build and maintain custom internal tools and interfaces using PowerApps and SharePoint
  • Manage and maintain golden images and VM templates using Packer
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Automate device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform performance, security, and user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual environments and automation workflows
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards

Requirements

  • Must have

    • Strong experience with:
      • Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), including front-end development
      • Microsoft SharePoint
      • Azure Functions
    • Hands-on experience with:
      • GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines)
      • Packer (image creation and management)
    • Solid understanding of:
      • Microsoft Azure services and architecture
      • Virtual desktop environments / End-User Computing
    • Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure management
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
