Job description
About the Position
Azure.NET Developer
Do you want to be challenged and get started with all kinds of Azure technologies?
About the Company
We believe the best digital solutions are created through a deep understanding of users, business processes, and domains. Technology is not an end in itself, but a means to help organizations move forward.
Are you an experienced Azure.NET Developer who looks beyond code alone? Do you understand how technology, business, and user needs come together in a single solution? And do you thrive in complex cloud-native environments where development, operations, data, and AI are becoming increasingly interconnected?
If so, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Impact
As a Backend Developer, you build future-proof digital solutions, particularly for clients that manage large volumes of information related to assets, products, contracts, and the processes surrounding them. For these organizations, it is essential that users can rely on accurate, complete, and easily accessible information.
You develop systems, platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native applications that bring together information from multiple sources. In doing so, you help users quickly find the information they need, exchange data reliably, and support internal processes more effectively. You take the time to understand the client's organization and domain, looking beyond the initial request to uncover the real challenge before selecting a technical solution.
You work with C#,.NET, and Microsoft Azure, but you also focus on what is required to run software securely, reliably, and at scale in production. As a result, you contribute to architectural decisions and think proactively about deployment, monitoring, security, performance, and operational management.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern applications, APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Build internal systems that collect, expose, and exchange information about assets, products, contracts, and other business-critical data to support operational and administrative processes.
- Integrate applications with external systems, data sources, and platforms.
- Work closely with the team and the Product Owner to propose product improvements and actively contribute to shaping and prioritizing the roadmap.
- Work with containers and, depending on the project, Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Set up and improve automated build, test, and deployment processes in Azure DevOps.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, for example using Bicep or Terraform.
- Provide input on architecture, security, monitoring, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Use AI tools responsibly to work smarter and more effectively, and explore opportunities where AI can create value for clients.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with C# and.NET.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and building cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of modern software architectures, such as microservices and event-driven systems.
- Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD, and automated testing and deployment.
- Knowledge of Docker; experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Bicep or Terraform, is an advantage.
- The ability to translate business processes and domain challenges into effective technical solutions.
- A customer-focused, pragmatic mindset and the ability to clearly explain technical decisions.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for solutions from development through production and ongoing operations.
- Professional and intellectual capabilities at Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's (WO) level.
- Proficiency in Dutch at a minimum B1 level, both spoken and written.
