About the Position

We are looking for a B2B PHP Senior Developer to join our team in Romania. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining, interpreting, and developing software to meet written requirements and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Defining, interpreting, and developing software to written requirements and technical specifications
• Suggesting improvements to existing products and implementing them across our platform
• Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product and databases to ensure it is functional and scalable
• Assisting QA in defining acceptance tests and performing troubleshooting
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Writing clean, well-designed code, following coding standards and best practices
• Working with globally distributed and multi-disciplinary teams
• Participating in mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience with web application backend development and a good level of PHP 8+ and MySQL
• Practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles
• Solid experience using design patterns
• Experience with Unit and Integration testing
• Experience with SQL, APIs, and GraphQL
• Knowledge of web product development and services, with awareness of the full-stack
• A good understanding of building and operating cloud-based microservices
• Good English communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience leading or mentoring others will be advantageous

Work from Romania region and a work permit are required.
