About the Role

We are looking for a proactive B2B Sales Representative to help build and scale the company's sales function.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, prospecting, and relationship building, and who thrives in a startup environment where flexibility, initiative, and accountability are highly valued.

You will work directly with company leadership, helping drive new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of an innovative CleanTech organization.

Hybrid position for candidates based in Toronto, Canada. Remote opportunities available for candidates across Canada. Availability during Toronto business hours is required.


Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery calls and qualify potential customers.
  • Manage prospects and sales activities within the CRM.
  • Follow up consistently with leads and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve sales processes and messaging.
  • Utilize AI tools and automated systems to improve productivity and sales performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Strong experience in cold calling and outbound sales.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Full-cycle sales experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
  • Resilience and comfort in handling rejection.
  • Startup mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Experience using modern technology and AI tools to improve efficiency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, HVAC, EV Charging, Construction, or related industries.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology startups.
  • Event, conference, or community-based sales experience.
  • Social selling and digital outreach experience.
