About the Position

Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG is offering opportunities for Bachelor's and Master's theses at our location in Halle (Saale). If you are passionate about scientific work and have an interest in material science, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on Thermit® reactions and their ignition.
• Develop new products for Thermit® applications.
• Innovate future Thermit® applications for well plugging and abandonment.
• Translate scientific theories and findings into industrial practice.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a background in material science, preferably in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Process Engineering, or similar fields.
• Enjoy independent scientific work and have a hands-on approach to practical experiments.
• Demonstrate curiosity, openness to technical innovations, and the ability to think beyond conventional boundaries.
• Work well in a team.
• Possess excellent German and English language skills.
