About the Position
We are Everstar, the first recruitment agency that helps milltech companies find talented individuals and achieve victory together.
We are looking for a Back End Developer (Python) to join the R&D team of one of our partners. The main focus of the role is to develop a backend system from scratch in Python for managing drones and related infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to influence the architecture and key technical decisions, creating a real-time system with low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance.
Responsibilities
- Building back-end architectural solutions with data persistence.
- Integrating with third-party web systems.
- Close communication with the front-end part of the team.
- Writing clean code with high coverage of automated tests.
- Refactoring, optimizing, and fixing existing bugs.
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines. Automation. Containerization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Python development.
- Deep understanding of Python's internals (Garbage Collection, GIL, etc).
- Ability to correctly apply Multiprocessing / Multithreading / Asyncio in the context of I/O-bound and CPU-bound tasks.
- Confident knowledge of design patterns and OOP/SOLID principles.
- Experience in building complex web applications on Django (DRF) or FastAPI.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexes, transactions).
