About the Position

Back-end Engineer (Go) - Growly

We are looking for a Back-end Engineer (Go) to join Growly, a global product company that develops tools for document management, cognitive skill enhancement, and career growth. Growly is part of SKELAR, a venture builder that creates consumer businesses in various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Go.
• Implement microservices architecture with gRPC and protobuf.
• Integrate and manage message queues with Kafka.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database management.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes (GKE).
• Utilize Pulumi and Helm for infrastructure as code.
• Monitor and analyze system logs with Sentry.

Requirements

• Core Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with Go.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Clean Code principles.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with writing unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Ability to analyze logs and use monitoring systems.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes.

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience with gRPC or Apache Thrift.
  • Familiarity with Test-driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-driven Development (BDD).
  • Understanding or experience with Domain-driven Design (DDD).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
