Back-End Senior TypeScript (Node.js, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, Jest)

About the Position

We are seeking a Back-End Senior TypeScript Developer with over 5 years of experience in Node.js, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, and Jest for a remote role in Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement efficient and secure data models using TypeORM and PostgreSQL.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices in architecture and optimization.
• Participate in software architecture design, contributing to code modularity, maintainability, and consistency.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, defining clear and documented contracts.
• Develop unit and integrated tests with Jest, ensuring code quality and stability.
• Propose technical improvements and participate in the continuous evolution of the platform and its services.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid experience with TypeORM and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with automated testing (Jest).
• Ability to work in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• High level of Spanish and professional English.
• Valid work permit in Spain.
