Backend Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful/SOAP services to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Requirements

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Experience in creating and managing RESTful/SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with JBoss.
• Experience with DataPower (desirable).
• Experience with SQL databases, particularly Oracle.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, or equivalents.
• Experience with Maven.
• Mastery in performing Unit Tests with JUnit.
• Use of development IDEs and tools like POSTMAN and MVC.
• Knowledge of application servers.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, especially Azure.
• Certifications in agile methodologies such as Scrum Fundamentals and Kanban (desirable).
• Certifications such as DevOps Foundation and Azure Foundation (desirable).
