Responsibilities

As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of an agile Software Development Team, responsible for the full lifecycle of an application using cutting-edge technologies to deliver amazing value to our customers, while scaling our platform to meet the demands of worldwide markets.

• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation
• Support the Product Owner with requirements and the team with solutions
• Develop unit, component, and integrated tests with the guidance of the team's QA
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code to solve business needs
• Deploy applications in a Continuous Integration platform
• Test and document the implemented solutions

Requirements

• Proven track record of at least 3 years working with Java (preferably Java 8+)
• Experience with technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Apache Cassandra, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, and others
• Experience working with a high concurrency/high transactional/highly available platform
• Familiarity working with Client-server protocols such as SOAP and REST
• Expertise using established design patterns and encouraging appropriate use of reusability techniques

• Excellent communication skills (in Portuguese and English)
• Strong set of soft skills, being a team player, and promoting a healthy environment within your team
