Description of the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in Warsaw. The role involves:

• Development of backend applications in Kotlin (or Java),
• Working with PostgreSQL database (simple queries, triggers),
• Maintaining and developing integration with the frontend written in JavaScript/TypeScript,
• Participation in application testing (integration and performance),
• Administration of the Linux system (basic diagnostics, network management, processes),
• Working with Nginx / OpenResty (ability to write scripts in Lua),
• Collaboration with the DevOps team and SysAdmins in deploying applications.

Our Expectations

• Very good knowledge of Kotlin or Java,
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript,
• Ability to work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL),
• Experience working on Linux (commands, processes, network basics),
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies (Lua, OpenResty).

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of BGP, HTTP, and HTTP Caching,
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, Ansible, Docker.

INFORMATION CLAUSE

1. The personal data administrator is Polkomtel sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. Konstruktorska 4, hereinafter "Polkomtel".
2. The administrator has appointed a data protection inspector, who can be contacted at: [email protected] or by sending written correspondence to the administrator's registered office address.
3. Personal data will be processed for:

• In the case of employment under an employment contract - to conduct and resolve the recruitment process with your participation based on art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR in conjunction with legal provisions, in particular labor law;
• In the case of your separate consent - for the purpose indicated in the consent, based on art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent in this case is voluntary, and consent given can be withdrawn at any time (without affecting the legality of actions taken before its withdrawal);
• To potentially establish, investigate, or defend against claims, based on art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR, where the legally justified interests pursued by the administrator, then conducting and resolving the recruitment process.

1. Personal data may be disclosed to data recipients entitled under separate provisions, entities cooperating with the Administrator, entities processing data on behalf of the Administrator, and companies belonging to the Polsat Plus Capital Group.
2. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.
3. Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose:

• i.e., conducting the recruitment process,
• if you have given consent to participate in future recruitments for 2 years from the submission of the application or until the consent is withdrawn,
• potential establishment, investigation, or defense of claims. After the purpose of processing ceases, the data will be deleted.

1. The data subject has the right to:

• withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
• request access to personal data and the right to correct, delete, or restrict processing, as well as the right to data portability, i.e., the right to receive personal data from us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format if technically feasible;
• object to processing for reasons relating to their particular situation;
• lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing of their personal data infringes GDPR provisions.

1. In the case of employment under an employment contract - providing data within the scope specified by labor law regulations is required by these regulations. Failure to provide this data will result in the inability to consider your candidacy.
2. Data will not be processed in an automated manner, including profiling, or subject to automated decision-making.
