About the Position
At AURUM we are working on the next generation of strength training, collecting data points and create tangible insights for our customers, visualising the progress of the AURUM 6-Minute-Workout high intensity training. Our mission is to empower people to get the strength to enjoy their life. The vertical integration of our own training hardware and software platform as a product that will be distributed to hundreds of locations, the cloud-based training dashboards, the host of data for data-driven applications and features of gamification to be implemented make this job especially rewarding. Your Role
If you ever wanted to be the lead software engineer of a whole product, bringing your personal touch to it, drive innovation, best practices and stability, you are the one we are looking for. You will be working at the core of AURUM, being an integral part of the customer experience. You will be:
- Developing new features to improve the daily business of our personal coaches and elevate the customer experience
- Shaping our Cloud infrastructure
- Supporting and improving operational aspects of the business with tooling and growth hacking
- Integrating our software landscape with 3rd parties
- Working closely with the core team to reach our business goals
You are going to be a cornerstone of the software development at AURUM, translating visionary ideas into tangible features as well as explaining complex problems to non-technical personnel.
Your Profile
You have a passion for technology, the ability to structure complex problems into tangible tasks and you don't confuse pragmatism with minimalism.
More concretely:
- You have completed a computer science degree or comparable
- 2-4 years of experience in developing and maintaining software
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- You have a DevOps and automation attitude
Your Skills
- Advanced TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge and experience
- Serverless architectures and Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- We say database, you say no problem
- Keeping your code clean as a boy scout in an SCM tool (preferably Git)
- Pragmatic programming sounds like home
- Building CI/CD pipelines make you feel comfortable
- Full proficiency in English
A plus is:
- If you grew up with AWS Cloud Services and Architecture
- If you have a nag for data science
- Knowledge in Python
- If you don't shy away from frontend tasks
