Backend Engineer – Cloud & AI Focused

This is a hands-on, autonomous role reporting directly to the Chief Architect, where you'll:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend platforms powering multiple mobile games.
• Develop new backend features and robust architectures for high-traffic environments.
• Build and integrate REST APIs that connect frontend, game engines, and external services.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and auto-scaling strategies to ensure high availability.
• Work in cloud environments (Gcloud Platform / AWS) and apply best practices in distributed systems.
• Write high-performance, maintainable code.
• Manage SQL/NoSQL databases and caching layers (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of AI tools and frameworks.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of hands-on experience in backend or server-side development, ideally at scale.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience with scalability, monitoring, and server reliability practices.
• Familiarity with AI-powered features or interest in applying machine learning to backend use cases.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and design clean, reliable solutions.
