Backend Engineer Lead (Taipei)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer Lead to join our team in Taipei. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining our backend infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with banking and payment APIs.

Responsibilities

• Building backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js with a PostgreSQL database
• Collaborating with banking and payment APIs

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Deep experience with and understanding of:
  • JavaScript (5+ years)
  • Node.js (5+ years)
  • Express.js framework (3+ years)
  • APIs (5+ years)/Building fintech backend APIs (1+ years)
  • Databases (PostgreSQL) (3+ years)
  • Architecture (2+ years)
  • Fintech web applications (1+ years)
• The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up. High-achieving and goal-oriented. A self-starter, you are always able to understand the bigger picture, and take a leading role to impact it.
