About the Position

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. You will work on developing, deploying, and monitoring applications in the Cloud.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services
Develop, deploy, and monitor applications in the Cloud (GCP, AWS, etc.)
Implement Microservice architecture and distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
Strong understanding of Microservice architecture and distributed systems
Experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring applications in the Cloud (GCP, AWS, etc.)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps culture
Care about code quality and performance
Self-driven with the ability to work independently
Degree in computer engineering or similar
Fluent in English
Fluent in Spanish (nice to have)

Nice to Have

Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
Experience with CI tools - Jenkins
