Backend Software Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Atlassian, a leading software company that empowers teams worldwide. This role is fully remote and requires you to be located in either US Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences
• Configure monitoring for backend services
• Build CICD pipelines
• Develop integrations with our content management system
• Build features and services with reliability in mind

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience).
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST.
• A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting.
• Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node).

Nice to Have

• Experience working with an enterprise content management system
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
• Java experience
• Freemarker experience
• Rust experience

Salary

The base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

• Zone A: $150,300 - $196,225
• Zone B: $135,270 - $176,603
• Zone C: $124,749 - $162,867
