Bank and Foreign Currency Operations Accountant

The Fourth Law (Четвертий Закон) - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of drone autonomy technologies. Role mission: To ensure timely and correct processing of all of the company’s bank and foreign currency transactions, maintaining transparent accounting of cash flows, loans and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and executing hryvnia and foreign currency payments in Client-Bank systems;
• Daily work with bank statements and recording bank transactions in the accounting system;
• Processing transactions for the purchase and sale of foreign currency;
• Preparing and providing banks with documents for foreign currency transactions;
• Liaising with banks on operational matters;
• Accounting for loans, deposits, interest and bank fees;
• Monitoring the correctness of transaction recording and participating in the month-end close for your area.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar position
• Understanding of accounting for bank transactions, foreign currency transactions and exchange rate differences;
• Experience with Client-Bank systems (working with several banks at once is an advantage);
• Strong command of Excel
• Ability to handle a large volume of payments and documents without loss of quality;
• Sociability for prompt interaction with banks and internal departments.
