About the Position
Finance Accountant
Location: Seoul, South Korea
Entity: ING Bank N.V., Seoul Branch
Responsibilities
As a Finance Accountant, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:
- Support projects and new initiatives and implement ING’s business strategy and policy
- Analyze the impact of new accounting implementation and new products
- Liaise with regional finance and tax, as well as external auditors and tax firms
- Monitor head office reporting and local regulatory reporting returns
- Review daily and monthly closing processes and guide junior staff
- Ensure full compliance with all internal and regulatory rules and regulations
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the applicant should ideally possess the following pre-requisites:
- More than 7 years of working experience in Banking Finance
- In-depth knowledge and experience in accounting financial instruments (IFRS 9)
- Good analytical skills, with a keen interest in finding out more
- Good communication skills in Korean as well as English
