Battery FEA Engineer

About the Position

Apple's Battery Engineering team is seeking an experienced FEA Engineer to play a critical role in the design, qualification, and manufacturing of battery systems that power Apple's portable electronic devices. In this position, your models and simulations will directly inform design decisions for nearly every battery Apple ships, impacting reliability, safety, manufacturing processes, and performance across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable battery systems
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve battery performance and reliability

Requirements

• Proficiency in FEA tools and techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in battery engineering or a related field
