About The Role

As a Bauphysiker (m/w/d), you will take on a central role in the building physics development, evaluation, and optimization of our building system. You will ensure that building physics requirements are considered early and implemented technically, economically, and in compliance with standards. You will work closely with design, planning, production, and other departments, and actively contribute to the further development of system solutions, standards, and technical details.

Your responsibilities include:

• Development and optimization of the building system in the field of thermal building physics
• Conducting and evaluating thermal, moisture, and hygrothermal proofs and simulations
• Developing and evaluating building physics construction details and component structures
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and legal requirements
• Providing technical advice to planning, design, and production on building physics issues
• Developing standards, system solutions, and building physics concepts to improve energy efficiency

About You

Minimal Requirements

• Completed degree in Building Physics, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Solid professional experience in thermal building physics
• Excellent knowledge in thermal and moisture protection and energy-efficient building
• Proficient use of relevant standards, guidelines, and building physics calculation and simulation methods
• Good knowledge of Hottgenroth, Psi-Therm, and WUFI
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with planning, design, and production
• Fluent in German, both spoken and written

Preferred Requirements

• Professional experience in the development of building systems
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
