Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers for rebate negotiations.
- Conduct financial modeling analytics for rebate optimization.
- Utilize clinical knowledge of multiple therapeutic categories for manufacturer assignments.
- Lead contract negotiation processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with UHG corporate policies and directives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in contracting negotiations, strategy development, and contract redlining.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams or departments.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (MBA or PharmD).
- Degree in Pharmacy.
- Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
