Karriere Tutor GmbH is seeking a Bereichsleitung IT Weiterbildung & Umschulung to lead their IT training and retraining department remotely.

Responsibilities

As the Bereichsleitung IT Weiterbildung & Umschulung, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing your department with multiple sub-teams and subject matter coordinators, and making personnel decisions, performance, personal development, and recruiting.
• Developing the department portfolio and technical direction with the Product and Sales teams, and ensuring the technical focus of the subject clusters is market-oriented.
• Ensuring that our training and retraining content is current, vocationally relevant, and of high didactic quality.
• Planning personnel needs, coordinating the deployment of lecturers, and ensuring the appropriate staffing of your department.
• Ensuring budget compliance and prioritizing technical and personnel resources.
• Developing structures, processes, and responsibilities, and ensuring reliable and efficient teaching operations.
• Monitoring relevant developments in IT and AI and deriving impulses for the further development of our training offers.
• Working closely with product management, recruiting, scheduling, and other internal interfaces.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in vocational training, adult education, or with a comparable educational provider, and knowledge of the specific requirements of this environment.
• Solid technical IT knowledge and the ability to technically assess technical content and its relevance for vocational training offers.
• Several years of management or leadership experience and familiarity with managing employees and ideally managing multiple teams or departments.
• Experience in the design, implementation, quality assurance, or further development of training and qualification offers.
• Understanding of how vocationally relevant learning content is structured, kept technically up-to-date, and didactically sensibly conveyed.
• Experience in personnel planning and the management of personnel resources.
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented work, with the ability to set clear priorities even in complex requirements.
• Binding and empathetic communication, making comprehensible decisions, and aligning coordinators, lecturers, and other stakeholders with common goals.
• Very good written and spoken German skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with an AZAV-certified educational provider and a solid understanding of the requirements for subsidized training and retraining.
• Experience in managing a department with multiple sub-teams and decentralized responsibilities.
• Knowledge in software development, IT infrastructure, and/or the field of AI.
• Experience in quality management and the sustainable improvement of teaching and learning processes.
• Experience in budget planning and the economic use of personnel and technical resources.
