Big Data Engineer Intern (Scala)

Responsibilities
- Hands-on technical experience
- Learning under the supervision of mentors
- Experience in commercial projects
- Working with leaders in their industries
Requirements
- Java or Scala background.
- Algorithms basics (SQL/RDS basics (e.g. syntax, normalization principles)
- Understanding of code quality principles (unit, functional, integration, performance testing)
- Good knowledge in Java or Scala:
- OOP
- Multi threading
- Data structures/types
- Loops, conditions, variables, functions, logical and arithmetical Operators, etc.
- I/O
- HTTP/HTTPS/TCP protocols
- JVM
- RDBs
- Tools (With Java: Spring, Hibernate, other kind of frameworks for one or another language)
- English: Upper-intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
- Education: Undergraduate (Bachelor's) or graduate (Master's) student preferably specialized in Computer Science or related fields.
Nice to Have
- On-hands experience with version control (e.g. GIT)
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and other soft skills
