About the Position

Billing Risk Manager

Galaktica, a leading Ukrainian IT product company, is seeking a Billing Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. Since 2019, we have been creating mobile applications and web products for Tier-1 markets. Our team of over 350 experts from around the world is dedicated to developing international products, experimenting with new approaches, and rapidly scaling solutions that improve the lives of millions of users.

An important aspect of Galaktica's business is our commitment to philanthropy. Since 2022, we have provided significant volunteer aid in various areas, primarily supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine with vehicles, drones, and other equipment. We also run two charitable foundations focusing on the rehabilitation of military personnel and support for children affected by the war.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Billing Risk Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

Handle requests from providers regarding potential fraud, including processing and contesting chargebacks and refunds.
Monitor chargeback analytics.
Develop the company's chargeback and fraud prevention strategies.
Establish rules for working with high-risk users.
Configure and monitor the operation of RDR, Ethoca Alerts, CE 3.0.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
Familiarity with key metrics (chargeback ratio, fraud rate, dispute success rate) and payment system thresholds.
Experience with chargebacks, including preparing evidence (documents, data, screenshots).
In-depth knowledge of payment system rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) for contesting chargebacks and dealing with fraud.
Experience with OI and CE 3.0.
Experience in preparing mitigation plans when thresholds are exceeded.
Experience with chargeback prevention systems: Verifi, Ethoca, Kount, etc.
Understanding of Ethoca functionality, working with reports, integration, and using it to reduce fraudulent and chargeback transactions.
Analytical skills to identify the causes of chargebacks, develop strategies to reduce them, and monitor fraudulent transactions.
Experience with payment providers: communication, obtaining reports, and analysis.
Advanced English proficiency (C1).

Nice to Have

Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets.
Experience with BI systems (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Building dashboards for monitoring key metrics (fraud rate, chargeback ratio).
