About the Position
Biophysics Scientist Job at Scorpion Therapeutics, Thousand Oaks, CA
Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a dedicated Biophysics Scientist to focus on the discovery of biological therapeutics using advanced surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technologies.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-throughput affinity binding assays on biologics from generative biology
- Assess cross-species selectivity
- Investigate mechanisms of action
- Analyze and communicate scientific data
- Collaborate with computational scientists to develop ML/AI models for molecular optimization
Requirements
- PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent, with experience in protein chemistry, biophysics, and binding analysis
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with lab automation and membrane protein work preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with computational modeling
- Familiarity with ML/AI
