About the Position

We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in insurance processes and business requirements gathering to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

Analyze and describe business processes of insurance products and internal company processes.
Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from clients.
Prepare technical tasks, User Stories, Use Cases, and other project documentation.
Model business processes (BPMN, UML, or other notations).
Participate in automation and digital transformation projects of business processes.
Interact with business units, IT team, testers, and other project participants.
Support the development of functionality from the analysis stage to implementation.
Analyze current processes and prepare proposals for their optimization.
Participate in testing the implemented functionality and acceptance of development results.
Prepare user documentation and conduct presentations of new solutions.

Higher education (economics, finance, information technologies, or related fields).
Work experience as a business analyst of at least 2 years.
Practical experience in an insurance company or with the automation of insurance processes.
Understanding of the insurance policy lifecycle and main insurance products.
Experience in gathering and formalizing business requirements.
Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or other process modeling tools.
Experience in writing functional requirements and technical documentation.
Understanding of software development processes (SDLC, Agile, Scrum).
Skills in working with Jira, Confluence, or similar systems.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
