Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on real-world BSL communication scenarios and theoretical questions in signed language linguistics
- Verify linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Requirements
- Expertise in British Sign Language fluency, Deaf culture, visual linguistics, BSL grammar and syntax, non-manual markers, fingerspelling, and regional variations
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Deaf Studies, Sign Language Interpreting, Linguistics, or a related field
- RID certification, teaching experience, or community interpreting projects are a plus
- Clear, metacognitive communication-“showing your work”-is essential
We Offer
- Pay range of $6 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location
