Als Broker (m/w/d) D&O Versicherungen übernimmst Du – abhängig von Deiner bisherigen Erfahrung – die Betreuung von Gewerbekunden und Kooperationsmaklern, vom SME-Segment bis hin zu Großkunden. Dabei bist Du sowohl an der Gewinnung von Neugeschäft in enger, partnerschaftlicher Zusammenarbeit mit Deinen zugewiesenen Kooperationsmaklern beteiligt als auch für die laufende Kundenbetreuung inklusive Begleitung durch das jährliche Renewal verantwortlich.
Von Ausschreibungen über Ergebnispräsentationen und konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen bis hin zur Platzierung komplexerer Risiken: Je nach Erfahrungslevel übernimmst Du von Beginn an eigenständig Verantwortung oder wächst mit Unterstützung unserer erfahrenen Kolleg:innen Schritt für Schritt in diese Themen hinein.

What You Can Expect in This Role
- Support for Cooperation Brokers: You will take over the professional support of our cooperation brokers and their customer relationships. Depending on your experience level, this includes independently or together with experienced colleagues, the support of commercial customers including renewal, support for questions and more complex risk situations in the area of D&O and other financial lines, the placement of risks with insurers, and the conduct of joint customer meetings.
- Support for Large Clients: With appropriate experience, you will take over the professional support of large clients – either together with our cooperation brokers or directly. As a junior, you will gradually grow into the support of more complex clients and risks.
- Tendering: You will accompany tender processes on and outside our Finlex platform and develop suitable insurance solutions. Depending on your experience level, this includes the analysis and evaluation of management liability risk at the customer, the placement and negotiation of the risk on the insurance market, as well as case-specific wording negotiations in coordination with our claims, legal, and product management teams.
- Negotiation & Cooperation: You will work closely with existing and future contractual partners such as insurers, insurance brokers, and corporate clients, and develop sustainable business relationships. With increasing experience, you will also take over negotiations independently.
- New Customer Acquisition: You will actively participate in the acquisition of new customers and, depending on your experience, take on increasing responsibility for the acquisition process.
- Representation: You will have the opportunity to represent Finlex at trade and customer events, as well as to contribute to trade articles, blog posts, lectures, and webinars. With appropriate experience, you will also design and be responsible for these formats independently.
- Technical Contact Person: With growing experience, you will develop into a technical contact person and "expertise provider" within and outside the team.
- Claims Support: You will support our claims team in the handling of management liability claims.
What is Most Important for This Position
- Initial or already several years of professional experience in the (commercial) insurance sector – ideally with contact points to financial lines and/or D&O
- A completed degree in business/law or a completed training in the insurance sector
- Depending on the level of experience, initial knowledge or already in-depth expertise in the area of D&O insurance and annex coverages
- Strong customer and sales orientation as well as enjoyment in conveying complex matters understandably and solution-oriented – primarily in German, but also in English
- Team spirit, commitment, and a structured as well as self-responsible working style
- Affinity for platform technology, modern IT solutions, and our startup mentality
- For more experienced applicants, an existing network in the German financial lines insurance market is advantageous
