Business Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a technically fluent and domain-savvy Business Analyst to join our team in Riga, Latvia or remotely (EMEA time zone). You will drive clarity across product requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and help shape the future of our platform through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder & Requirements Management:

• Collaborate with business owners to define product vision, roadmap, and feature requirements
• Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and understand pain points
• Collect, document, and assess input from internal stakeholders and customer-side experts
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Maintain traceability of requirements across teams and lifecycle stages

Technical Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers (C#/.NET stack) to ensure accurate implementation
• Propose and review process flows, data models, and object structures with engineers
• Take ownership of backlog grooming, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria
• Support development teams throughout the feature lifecycle with clarifications and scope alignment
• Support QA and user acceptance testing processes with clear documentation and test scenarios
• Review and validate delivered features against business requirements and stakeholder goals

API & Documentation:

• Assess and document existing APIs; plan and design improvements
• Ensure API product alignment with business goals and usability standards
• Own technical documentation across the full lifecycle - from user interviews to feature revisions
• Improve documentation of existing functionality and establish scalable documentation processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in SaaS, CPQ, billing, or marketplace platforms
• Strong understanding of subscription and consumption-based business models
• Experience working with telcos, MSPs, distributors, or vendors
• Technical skills in C#/.NET environments; ability to read and interpret code
• Experience with API development/design and integration workflows
• Familiarity with enterprise IT systems (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.)
• Agile/Scrum experience; backlog management tools (Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Solid spoken and written communication skills in English
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, or related field
• Business Scrum Master or Project Management certification is a plus
