About the Position
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join our team working on an insurance and financial operations platform. This role is Remote / Hybrid.
About the Project
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a team working on an insurance and financial operations platform. The product includes customer onboarding, case management, document workflows, approvals, external integrations, reporting, and internal operational tools.
This role sits between product, business stakeholders, engineering, QA, and design. It requires strong spoken English for workshops, requirement clarification, user story discussions, demos, and day-to-day communication with international clients and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and document business requirements for web platforms, integrations, workflows, and reporting features.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, refinement meetings, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation workshops.
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and API-level business requirements.
- Work with product owners and designers to clarify user journeys, roles, permissions, and edge cases.
- Support developers and QA during implementation by clarifying logic, scenarios, and acceptance conditions.
- Analyse existing processes and propose practical improvements to reduce manual work and ambiguity.
- Support UAT, release preparation, demo sessions, and backlog prioritisation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Experience working with web platforms, SaaS products, internal systems, or integration-heavy projects.
- Strong skills in user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN/process flows, use cases, and requirements documentation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, data structures, system integrations, and basic technical constraints.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, ask precise questions, and align stakeholders around clear scope.
- Strong spoken English - B2+ or higher for direct workshops and client-facing communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, banking, healthcare, logistics, or enterprise workflow platforms.
- Experience with data mapping, reporting requirements, or analytics-related features.
- Experience supporting UAT and working with distributed international teams.
- Experience with product discovery techniques is a plus.
