About the Position
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Middle+ / Senior) for a dynamic European company building a cutting-edge marketplace platform. As the primary link between the external development team and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in transforming complex business requirements into well-defined, actionable tasks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams
- Support ongoing feature development, ensuring alignment between product vision and execution
- Work independently to drive clarity and direction in a complex, evolving environment
- Coordinate with distributed development teams and track deliverables
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical or product-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of marketplace platforms, especially B2B services
- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to lead discussions and drive decisions across multiple stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills
- Understanding of Gaia-X, verifiable credentials, or Data Spaces
- Background in open-source platforms (e.g., Sellor, Magento)
- Familiarity with cloud services, infrastructure, or European data compliance
- Technical literacy: APIs, workflows, and software architecture basics
