About the Position

Head HR - GCC

Our client, one of the reputed Project Management & Engineering Contracting Company, having operations in the GCC region, specializing in large-scale (MEP), HVAC, Water Treatment, and Solar Power projects, is looking to hire a Head of HR based in Dubai, UAE.

Salary: AED 45K - 50K (family status & Bonus)

It’s a leadership role, where the incumbent will be responsible for managing multiple business entities (8 companies) in the GCC region, focusing on Expansion, Transformation, Talent Management, HR, Administration & Compliance, Mobilization of talent, Advisor to Senior Leadership and leading a team of 20 - 25 people.

Responsibilities

• Develop HR plan based on Company’s Business Plan & strategy
• Recommend and ensure implementation of Strategic directions for people development within the organization including training based on Company’s strategy
• Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of resources as per the business plan
• Ensure availability of required level and quality of Management/ Supervisory / workmen staff with appropriate global approvals, in order to meet the business needs, focusing on employee retention and key employee identification initiatives
• Ensure an engaging climate in the organization, including adequate opportunities for career growth and development
• Review and advise on Grading & Compensation structure
• Develop Reward & Recognition policies & mechanisms to instill performance driven culture
• Lead an effective appraisal process, increments and promotions of all staff and workmen
• Provide counsel & assistance to employees at all levels in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation
• Coordinate the design, implementation and administration of HR policies and activities (infrastructure, facilities, labor camps, etc) to ensure availability and effective utilization of HR for meeting the company’s objectives
• Maintain & develop HR policies, ensuring compliance and to contribute the development of Corporate HR policies
• Develop the HR team with required competencies, to ensure the provision of a professional HR service to the organization
• Responsible for complete administration activities for Companies
• Liaise with other functional entities as needed

Requirements

• Education Qualification: Graduate /PG in HR with experience in leading regional HR in the Gulf countries in Project environment
• Stakeholder management
• Ability to influence and drive change
• Ability to drive new initiatives

Note that this role will require travel
