About the Position

Bridge Business Needs and IT Innovation as a Business Analyst!

Łódź based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days in the office/month)

As a Business Analyst you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector delivering innovative digital solutions for accounts and savings products. You will support complex IT and business initiatives focused on modernizing core banking systems and improving customer-facing financial services. The role involves close collaboration with business lines, architects, and external vendors to translate regulatory, process, and customer needs into robust system solutions. You will operate across the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through testing and implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements during project initiation and delivery phases
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements specifications and high-level solution designs
• Support analytical work performed by vendors and internal banking units
• Define and analyze banking processes in cooperation with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with system architects, designers, and internal domain experts
• Prepare and review user and automated test scenarios
• Conduct functional testing and support business acceptance testing
• Review technical documentation, architecture, and applied technologies
• Support system parameterization and provide expert guidance post-implementation

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a Business Analyst role working with business stakeholders
• Experience in banking or financial IT projects
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and business operations
• Practical experience in business and system requirements analysis and documentation
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and IT system architecture
• Experience with system and data integration concepts
• Hands-on knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
• Experience in functional and UAT testing activities
• Proficiency with analytical and documentation tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
