Context of the Position

As part of the strengthening of our Consulting & AMOA pole dedicated to banking actors, we are looking for a Confirmed Business Analyst working at the interface between Business and IT.

You will intervene with retail banks, investment banks, or fintechs on transformation projects:

• Digitalization of customer journeys,
• Optimization of processes (credit, payments, compliance, risks...),
• Regulatory compliance,
• Evolution of banking IS (front, middle, back, risk tools, references...).

Open position, not attached to a single mission: we are building a pool of BAs capable of intervening in several banking project contexts.

Main Missions

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

1. Needs Collection & Analysis

   • Conduct scoping workshops with business teams (compliance, risks, credit, payments, operations, digital...).
   • Formalize needs in the form of:
     • User Stories, use cases, SFD/SFG, functional specifications,
     • Process diagrams (BPMN) and functional models (UML).
   • Challenge business requests to ensure coherence, feasibility, and added value.

2. Functional Design & Business/IT Translation

   • Write detailed functional specifications and have them validated by stakeholders.
   • Propose target scenarios (processes, journeys, business rules, functional data models).
   • Work closely with MOE / IT teams to ensure a clear understanding of needs.

3. Test Management & Change Support

   • Define the functional testing strategy and UAT test plans.
   • Write test cases and data sets in liaison with the business.
   • Coordinate / perform functional testing and follow up on anomalies (tools like JIRA/ALM, etc.).
   • Contribute to the deployment and support of users (support, training, operating modes).

4. Functional Steering & Coordination

   • Contribute to functional progress tracking (reporting, indicators, risks, alerts).
   • Prepare and animate business committees (workshops, backlog reviews, process reviews).
   • Act as a functional reference on your perimeter (processes, business rules, data).

Required Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / AMOA in an environment:
  • Banking (retail bank, CIB, private banking, fintech, neobank, etc.)
  • And strongly IT / IS (transformation projects, migration, redesign, digitalization, data, etc.).

Functional Skills

Excellent mastery of the IT system project lifecycle from the business/AMOA side.

• Proven experience in the following activities:
  • Collecting and formalizing needs,
  • Writing detailed functional specifications,
  • Process modeling (BPMN),
  • Defining business rules,
  • Preparing and following functional tests / UAT.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following banking areas:
  • Credits (consumer, real estate, business),
  • Payment Methods / Monétique / SEPA / SWIFT,
  • Compliance / KYC / LCB-FT,
  • Credit / Regulatory Risk / Reporting,
  • Digital Banking / Omnichannel Journeys.

Technical Skills & Tools

• BPMN and ideally UML for modeling.
• SQL (reading, consistency checks, simple queries).
• Comfortable with REQUIREMENTS / BACKLOG management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Good understanding of a standard IS architecture (applications, interfaces, flows, data).

Soft Skills

• Strong ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics.
• Relational ease with varied interlocutors: business, IT, risk, compliance, management.
• Ability to challenge needs while maintaining a solution-oriented posture.
• Autonomy, documentary rigor, sense of project collectivity.
• Curiosity for banking and IT innovations (API, digitalization, data, etc.).
• Professional English appreciated for international projects.
