About the Position
We're seeking a seasoned Business Analyst - Data Products to join a major bank. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and QA to define, prioritise, and deliver robust integration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Independently drive cross-functional engagement with senior stakeholders and Data Product Owners to define strategic data requirements.
- Translate business objectives into data definitions, data models, and governance frameworks.
- Communicate complex business and data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain an end-to-end perspective on data flows, dependencies, and impacts across systems, products, and business processes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a global team.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques effectively to enhance business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrate data analysis skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and derive insights from datasets using Excel or other data analysis tools such as SQL and Power BI.
- Possess proven experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry, with a strong understanding of financial products, business processes, regulatory requirements, and data domains.
Requirements

Must have
- Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or equivalent experience, and at least 7 years of experience working in a similar position.
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on data domain (Strategy, Frameworks and Controls).
- Good understanding of data quality principles.
- Relational and dimensional data modelling and data governance.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, able to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.
- Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to maintain a holistic, end-to-end view of data ecosystems.
