What to Expect?

As a Project Manager, you will implement Odoo. You will be in direct contact with clients to help them use Odoo software (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Website...). You will analyze their needs and organize personalized training sessions. In fact, you will be in charge of providing the best management solution to your clients!

As a Project Manager, you will also support the growth of our partner network. You will help and coach our partners, across Africa, to implement their clients' projects and become Odoo experts.

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop larger accounts (Medium Market & Corporate). You will deal with companies of 100 employees and manage larger and long-term projects. The goal is always to implement our software and provide tailored training. You could evolve as a project director on large-scale projects!

You will work on different projects at the same time. From the first weeks, you will be quickly involved in your first projects with the support of more experienced colleagues. You will gradually increase your level of autonomy, but never forget that two heads are better than one! You will not have time to get bored because each project is different (sector, scope of projects, etc.)

We want our Project Managers to be able to implement Odoo from A to Z in any company, sector, and field of activity. To achieve this, hiring people with some field experience is necessary and is a significant asset for your application.

Accounting and Finance

As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in all kinds of accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank & cash reconciliations, general ledger, VAT transactions, consolidation, controlling, and annual closing transactions.

Supply Chain Management

As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in supply chain activities such as demand planning, procurement, warehousing, or transportation management.

Manufacturing

As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in manufacturing activities such as production planning, product lifecycle management, quality control, or maintenance.

eCommerce

As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in website-related projects (website design, ecommerce management, or SEO). A basic understanding of front-end development languages (HTML/CSS) is a plus.

Human Resources

As already experienced in this domain, you understand the challenges of the HR department and you are familiar with everything related to payroll, recruitment, employee contracts, and time off management.

Marketing

As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in all kinds of marketing activities like emailing, strategic planning, content creation, campaign optimization, and trend watching.

Responsibilities

Project Implementation (80%)
- Gain the trust of your clients
- Analyze client needs and propose solutions
- Implement agreed solutions (configuration and development)
- Make your client/partner an Odoo champion (training)
- Follow the project and communicate its status and ongoing tasks
- Organize and follow Odoo implementations
Internal Improvements (20%)

Required Profile

Minimum 1 year of experience
Proficiency in English and French
Fast learning
Multi-tasking and organizational skills
Good communication
Autonomous, Assertive, and proactive
Affinity with the IT world
Work permit for Kenya (or being part of the East African Community - EAC)

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Swahili or other regional or international languages
Experience in implementing management software
Accounting expertise
Technical knowledge (XML, Python, JS)
