We are looking for a Business Analytics Consultant to join our Data Practice and work with clients across sectors including financial services, retail, life sciences, and energy. You will help organizations identify opportunities to use data more effectively, define what success looks like, and develop strategies that deliver business value.

Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to turn complex needs into clear requirements for data products. You will facilitate discovery sessions and workshops, help establish KPIs and success metrics, and support the development and adoption of analytics solutions. Just as importantly, you will use data storytelling to make insights accessible and help stakeholders make confident decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and analytics workstreams
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand challenges, define KPIs and success metrics, and identify opportunities to create measurable value from data
• Assess clients’ current data capabilities and processes, then develop practical recommendations and roadmaps aligned with their business goals
• Evaluate and recommend approaches for data products and projects, including AI and cloud technologies where they are appropriate to the use case, existing environment, and expected value
• Shape data products by defining requirements, user stories, and priorities, and helping teams make informed trade-offs throughout delivery
• Translate complex analysis into clear insights and actionable recommendations, using data storytelling and visualization to influence stakeholders at different levels
• Define how business value, ROI, and product adoption will be measured, and help clients track outcomes after delivery
• Work with cross-functional teams to keep business objectives, proposed solutions, and deliverables aligned throughout an engagement
• Contribute to business development through case studies, thought leadership, and the identification of new client opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven project delivery, including 3+ years in a client-facing consulting or similar role
• Experience leading client workshops, discovery sessions, and analytics workstreams with business and IT stakeholders
• Proven ability to shape data products, including gathering requirements, defining user stories, prioritizing work, and supporting adoption
• Ability to assess business needs, compare potential solutions, and recommend approaches based on expected value, feasibility, and the client’s existing environment
• Practical understanding of AI technologies, their capabilities and limitations, and when they are appropriate for data products or projects
• Practical understanding of cloud technologies and their role in data products and projects
• Working knowledge of data management, data governance, and data architecture concepts
• Strong data storytelling and presentation skills, including the ability to use visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to audiences at different levels of seniority
• Understanding of industry-specific business processes and metrics, gained through experience in at least one sector
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery approaches, and the ability to work effectively within the approach best suited to the engagement
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to AI-enabled analytics projects, including predictive modeling or the evaluation of AI use cases
• Hands-on experience delivering data products or projects using cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with customer journey analytics or CRM data
• Experience conducting data maturity assessments and using the findings to shape data strategy or transformation roadmaps
• Specialist knowledge in areas such as financial modeling or Oil & Gas analytics
• Experience mentoring colleagues or managing a team
• Relevant certifications in data analytics, cloud technologies, or project management
