Are you ready to help shape market strategy, strengthen client engagement and improve commercial execution across Germany, ACEE and the Nordics? Join Swiss Re as a Business & Market Analyst and work closely with market leadership, Client Managers and experts across the organization.

About Swiss Re

Our global team brings together experience, creative thinking and specialist expertise to develop new opportunities and solutions for our clients. We offer a flexible and collaborative working environment in which curious and adaptable people can thrive.

About the Role

Based in Bratislava and reporting to the Head of Life & Health Germany, ACEE & Nordics, you will turn strategic priorities and market insights into clear analysis, high-quality materials and effective execution.

Working closely with market leadership, Client Managers and cross-functional experts, you will contribute to strategic decision-making, business performance management and client engagement. The role also offers strong development opportunities and first-hand exposure to market leadership and strategic client activities.

Responsibilities

  • Market and client strategy: Prepare strategy papers, market and client analyses, presentations and briefing materials for leadership and strategic client engagements.
  • Business performance: Monitor business performance and key KPIs, produce regular reports and provide concise management updates that support decision-making and follow-up.
  • Client engagement: Coordinate client events, training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Product and portfolio management: Support product and portfolio reporting, including WISER, and prepare materials for senior stakeholder discussions.
  • Cross-functional processes: Coordinate selected processes such as due diligence, compliance activities, regulatory requests, tenders and RFPs. Work with relevant experts to ensure clear ownership, timely input and high-quality deliverables.
  • Key account management: Support client feedback and key account processes, including NPS and NMG, and prepare relevant management meetings.
  • Leadership support: Contribute to strategic, commercial and operational priorities through targeted analysis and coordination and ad hoc support as required.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate market, client and business information into clear insights and concise materials.
  • A high degree of ownership, reliability and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities, deadlines and stakeholder follow-up.
  • A collaborative working style and confidence in engaging with Client Managers, market leadership, subject-matter experts and external stakeholders.
  • An interest in digital tools and AI-enabled ways of working, together with a practical approach to process improvement.
  • An interest in Life & Health insurance and a willingness to build your industry knowledge. Previous insurance or reinsurance experience would be an advantage.
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in business, economics, finance, international relations or a related field.
  • Fluency in English. German language skills would be an advantage.
