Salary: $75 to $100 USD

We are partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking a part-time Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) techno-functional consultant to support an active system and help improve performance, usability, and reporting.

This role is ideal for a consultant who thrives in hands-on environments, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and can deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and optimization for a live Business Central system
• Troubleshoot and resolve financial and data-related issues
• Enhance reporting capabilities, including operational and financial reporting
• Evaluate and improve workflows across inventory and rental processes
• Align system functionality with real-world business operations
• Deliver efficient solutions without unnecessary customization
• Partner closely with stakeholders across finance and operations
• Maintain clear communication and accountability in all work delivered

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central / NAV
• Proven techno-functional expertise (functional + technical understanding)
• Experience working with financials (GL, reporting, financial statements)
• Background in manufacturing, inventory, or rental environments
• Ability to quickly assess issues and deliver effective solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with non-serialized or grouped inventory models
• Reporting and data optimization in BC
• Post-implementation system improvement or remediation work
